  
Resident Didactic Schedule
The residents meet every morning at 6am in the radiology suite for radiology rounds. The on-call resident presents the radiographs from the previous days operative cases with the senior residents ensuring quality control. In addition, each of the consults from the previous day are presented to the team to determine the daily treatment plan.
After completing radiology rounds, the post-call junior resident presents a journal article from the recent orthopaedic literature (typically an article from JBJS(Am), JOT, AJSM, CORR, or AAJOS) to stimulate a discussion on the current trends in orthopaedics. Senior residents then review material from the daily reading requirements in Miller's Review of Orthopaedics 5th edition with the junior residents.
Didactic conferences are held each wednesday and thursday morning. Spine conference and Pediatric conference are held at 7.30am on Wednesday mornings. Thursday mornings from 7.30am until 1pm are reserved for an assortment of lectures, laboratories, and didactic conferences. These include Morbidity and Mortality conference, MRI conference, Attending lectures, anatomy lab, & arthroscopy lab.
In addition, every month, an Attending hosts a Journal Club meeting where relevent articles picked from the recent literature are discussed & critiqued over dinner and drinks.
