Chairman's Introduction

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

We expect that America's health care system will continue to remake itself in the foreseeable future. The faculty, residents and students have found the changes to be unsettling, but changes also bring opportunities. Our challenge is to seize on these opportunities to improve our programs and the delivery of health care.

We look forward to establishing clear cut goals for the next five years which will surely include: (1) improving access for patients; (2) improving care to the underserved; (3) increasing peer reviewed research publications; (4) building a substantial outcomes research program.

We are committed to the concept that quality of care will be improved by our continued pursuit of our teaching and research missions. If you have any suggestions as to how we can improve our program, please let me know. mailto:rwj-obgyn@umdnj.edu
