Our Practice

Our doctors are committed to providing exceptional medical care. All are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and are on the faculty of the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School .

We are Internists

Doctors of internal medicine, sometimes called "internists," are unique in their focus on adult medicine. We spend all of our time diagnosing and treating adults. Our patients range from teenagers to senior citizens.

At least 3 of our 7+ years of medical school and post-graduate training are spent learning how to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases affecting adults including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, digestive diseases, hormonal disorders, infections, kidney diseases, respiratory disorders, allergies, blood diseases and arthritis. We often see patients with severe chronic illnesses and multiple clinical problems.

We provide comprehensive care for our patients, whether in the office or at a hospital or other location. Importantly, we coordinate the care of our patients and manage difficult medical problems associated with that care especially when other medical specialists or sub-specialists need to be involved.

Office Location

The General Internal Medicine Clinical Practice is located at the Clinical Academic Building , 125 Paterson Street, Suite 5100 , New Brunswick , NJ 08903-0019.

Appointments

Please call (732) 235-6968 to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, we are unable to see people on a walk-in basis. If you have an illness that may require a same day visit we will make every possible effort to accommodate your needs.

New Patients

Initial office visits are extensive. We ask you to complete a questionnaire and provide information regarding any current problems, current medications, medical and surgical history and family medical history. Please bring any personal health information including names and doses of any prescription medications you are taking with you to your first appointment.

Help Us Serve You Better

As a courtesy to other patients, please plan to arrive on time for your appointment and bring your insurance identification card with you to each visit. We are unable to process walk-in requests or fax referrals due to the high volume of referrals that we process for our patients. Please request non-emergency referrals for treatment no less than 5 days in advance of your appointment. Call (732) 235-7134 to request a referral.
