SUMMARY
The Division of Cardiology has
provided leadership nationally and in the State of New Jersey in the fields
of hyperlipidemia, hypertension, congestive heart failure, and interventional
cardiology. The division distinguished itself by operating in an academic
center of excellence with a combination of the very best clinical practitioners,
state-of-the-art technology and expertise to diagnose and treat the full
spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. Facilitating access and streamlining
cardiac services, the division of cardiology at RWJUH has created an outstanding
model for optimizing quality and efficient delivery of care. Key physicians
in the division are not only leaders in patient care but also in the field
of cardiovascular research.
