Board Review

All residency graduates are expected to appear for and successfully complete the ABIM Internal Medicine Certifying Exam in their first attempt, immediately following their training.  Our graduates have maintained a 100% American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) board pass rate for the past several years.

The program provides several activities to facilitate preparation for the exam:

  •  A highly interactive daily Board Review study session (Mon-Fri) throughout the academic year.  The program leadership leads these sessions which are based upon materials from the American College of Physicians Medical Knowledge Self Assessment Program (MKSAP).
  •  An annual In-Training Examination
  •  An intense six-day board review course held in May of each year
