Special Admissions ProgramsLinkage programs with post-baccalaureate programsRobert Wood Johnson Medical School has established Accelerated Acceptance programs with post-baccalaureate programs at Rutgers University, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Bryn Mawr College, New York University and Drexel University. General requirements include a post-baccalaureate gpa of 3.60, the abovementioned prerequisites for the medical school, and MCAT taken no later than the spring of the year of matriculation. Students are encouraged to contact Ms. Kramer, Admissions Officer and the post-baccalaureate advisor for details. Joint Bachelor/Medical Degree ProgramThe Rutgers University/UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Joint Program is designed to permit integration of basic medical sciences into the undergraduate curriculum to graduate broadly educated students who will assume leadership roles in medicine. Students apply to the program in their fourth semester at Rutgers University. Selected students will obtain bachelor and medical degrees in seven or eight years.
